About Joy
Joy M. Perrin is the Digital Initiatives Librarian at the Texas Tech University Libraries. She holds a Master of Library Science from the University of North Texas. Ms. Perrin has nearly twenty years of experience with digital projects. She is the author of the 2025 book Efficiency by Design and the 2015 book Digitizing Flat Media: Principles and Practices. Joy is a faculty member at Texas Tech University and the head of the Digital Scholarship Services Unit at the Texas Tech University Libraries.
