Phyllis Goodman

Phyllis Goodman is a recently retired librarian who has worked more than twenty-five years in library services and education. Goodman took a special interest in senior programming in her last position as adult services librarian, when asked to provide programming for seniors who were not able to visit the library.  Finding programming resources scarce she created many programs from scratch. She conducted staff training, served on the reader’s advisory committee, and contributed to the library blog. Her first book, On the Go with Senior Services:  Library Programs for Any Time and Any Place is the result of her work and conversations with other librarians doing outreach for older adults.
