About the webinar

Explore what effective supervision looks like in today’s mission-driven workplace

Join Kari Anderson to learn how supervisors can build healthier relationships, strengthen performance, and create teams where people and the mission thrive.

Supervision in libraries and nonprofit organizations is about far more than assigning tasks, approving schedules, and tracking deadlines. It is about supporting humans—people with different communication styles, motivations, strengths, needs, and responses to change.

In this practical and candid webinar, nonprofit leadership expert Kari Anderson will explore what effective supervision looks like in today’s mission-driven workplace. Participants will examine how to set clear expectations, provide meaningful feedback, address performance concerns before they escalate, and create accountability without losing empathy. Kari will also address the realities of supervising former peers, navigating difficult conversations, and supporting employees without assuming responsibility for every challenge they experience.

Designed for new and experienced supervisors alike, this webinar will offer approachable tools participants can immediately use to build healthier working relationships, strengthen performance, and create teams where both people and the mission can thrive.
