Borui Zhang is the Natural Language Processing Specialist at the Health Science Center Libraries at the University of Florida. She earned a doctorate degree in Linguistics and a minor in computer science in the same year at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She offers consultations in machine learning (e.g., training methods, datasets, papers, theories, etc.) and does collaborative research that uses foundational models in different domains such as clinical notes and natural history collections. She works as the lead in her library department AI team and is currently teaching an undergraduate AI course to students from various backgrounds.
